I was born in Kentucky, the land of much beauty and many talents. Art was my natural born gift and evidenced itself as soon as I could hold a pencil. At age three I would go with my father to his stores and draw pictures of his customers. Then I graduated to copying the girls on store pinup calendars.

My parents moved from Kentucky to Tempe, Arizona and built a home across from Arizona State University. I attended Tempe High School and ASU. My teachers and early inspiration were Bill Voss, Harry Wood and our neighbors Jean Hopkins, Don Schaumburg, and Ben Goo. I've exhibited and sold in Texas and Kentucky. My paintings are hanging in numerous homes. My work is in the collection of Oneida Baptist Institute, Kentucky Historical Society, and several other historical societies in Kentucky, North Carolina and Tennessee.
